January 2010 | First of all: Our Moritz is neither related with Peter Eggert nor does he cooperate in any form with 'Eggert-Spiele'. But accidentally he is also called 'Peter', in fact his full name is 'Peter Moritz Benjamin Eggert', but that only as a side info. Whatever: The new 'Eggert' game by Bauldric & Friends is anything but lacking. First of all it makes thematic sense - even though the mechanics are Euroish it really feels like power-struggling in a company - which is a plus in our book. But at the same time the game doesn't take itself too seriously - even though it is most certainly 'deep' the bribing mechanics bring a fresh 'human' element to a game that is neither artificially over-complicated nor too simple, very interactive and with an almost perfect game length. Because of this the game gets our bureaucratic stamp of full approval! |
