'Poison' is a nice little cardgame by grandmaster Knizia. Like in other trick taking games each player plays a card with the goal to either not take any tricks or to get the majority of tricks of a single colour. Luck and tactics dominate the “all or nothing” atmosphere when playing out cards. A single game lasts only a few minutes even with players tending to tactical analysis. Light, fast and enjoyable: these are the attributes of the game, which is a perfect appetizer or even a light main course. |
