It is unusual to select a 'game of the month' that has not been published yet, but in this case 2 of the Westpark Gamers had extensive experience with the prototype during test sessions at 'Hans-im-Glueck', so that it can safely be said that there is another winner in the works here. 'Egizia' is an excellent game built around a selection mechanic that uses the river Nile as a thematic base that works very well. The game is an exciting race for victory points and the survival of one's people - both in equal measure. A game that will hold the attention of crafty tacticians for some time to come - beginning late October, when it will be published in Essen! |
