A Diplomacy variant that doesn’t really come off the board in atmosphere. The pretty limited
(in spaces) map makes early conflict and unfair losses very likely, and after two turns some
players will already be pretty much behind, with little chance to recover. Well, this could be said
about “Diplomacy” as well, I guess… Trying to bring some order to the possible
alliances via alliance tokens doesn’t really help either but rather confuses. I’ve heard
this was created to lure youngsters into Diplomacy like wargames – apparently it hasn’t been a
huge success in this respect.
