Dungeonville

Quick look by Moritz Eggert

As often with games by James Ernest and art by Kovalic this is not exactly the next “Puerto
Rico”, but in the right mood and crowd this can be entertaining in a way, probably more so than the
dire “Munchkins”. Game play is almost exclusively dominated by luck, and as there is no way to
“draw” adventure parties in your particular dungeon, victory point distribution is entirely left up
to chance, perhaps the biggest failure of the game, as there could have been a mechanic to remedy
that. A little tweaking here and there could have produced an interesting game, as it stands this
is not more than an amiable but gamewise weak effort with some funny drawings.
